Katerina Brunot was born in Russia and grew up in a family of artists.
It was in this creative atmosphere of artists, actors and colorful stage costumes that Katerina developed an endless imagination that allows her to take a bit of reality and paint into a piece of fiction something fantastic and unique. That feeling never left her and she continues to create daily by seeking new inspiration and capturing the essence of a moment.
In 1997, at the age of 10, her young talent was recognized and rewarded at the International Art Competition of the Moscow Junior Philatelist.
After graduating College Katerina became an Elementary School Teacher and later continued her education in art at theArt University.
In 2001 she immigrated to US where she again pursued her love for teaching young children. For several years Katerina Brunot taught Pre-kindergarten, however, unable to resist the passion for art, she completed her art education and became an art teacher.
Today she currently holds certifications as a Georgia State Certified Elementary Teacher for grades Kindergarten through Fifth (K-5) and as a Georgia State Certified Art Teacher for grades K-12.
While teaching young children Katerina was also using various mediums of art to paint portraits, landscapes, religious icons and wall murals for numerous individual clients.
To satisfy the specific needs of each client Katerina incorporates fresh ideas from her wide range of artistic talent, which ultimately exceeds their expectations.
Katerina totally enjoys illustrating. She illustrates intelligently with humor, twisted solutions and a holistic sense of communications.
